Easy, No Cook, Delicious goodness you won't be able to stop eating! This recipe has all the qualities that make a perfect meal....err...umm (scratch that) dessert! This recipe is similar to the Avalanche Bar from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Otherwise know to me as mommy crack. :)
When I worked in a corporate environment, I would often go out to lunch with friends. The last Friday of the month was always a special day for me and usually I would try to convince somebody to go with me to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. The last Friday of the month they had a HALF OFF sale. You know how women are, right? We can always justify buying something, more of something, or even something we wouldn't want otherwise, if it's on SALE! And, half off? Now that is a reason to load up!
So I would usually grab a partner in crime--somebody who would encourage me and validate my reasoning behind buying obscene amounts of chocolate. Occasionally, I would try something new but I would always stock up on Avalanche Bark. A couple steps, if I was "good", away from the register and I was already rustling that paper bag open and starting to devour the first bar. I know, glamorous and professional. I envision I looked a lot like a person drying up in the desert who just got a drop of water on their face. But, I'm sure it looked more like a pig in a trough making a chocolate mess and not caring at all. I would continue eating my delicious treats until I literally felt sick to my stomach and wanted to take a big girl nap!
Thankfully that horrible feeling always wore off in time for my ride home and I would shamelessly finish off the last bits that were supposed to last until the sale the following month.
Obviously, I have a very bad sugary-sweet addiction and no self control. Not a good combination but we'll address that later.
This is a super easy recipe that doesn't require any baking and takes less than 30 minutes to make (and two to eat)!
