This blog is about the trials, tribulations, and adventures of owning a business and working from home with two little boys in tow. HELLO!

My name is Heather and I'm the inventor of the Cub Co-Z Convertible Carrier and Founder/Owner of Lil' Cub Hub.  

I changed career paths to be a WAHM with two little boys in tow. The BEST of BOTH worlds--a mom and a career--sounds great, huh?  It certainly isn't as easy as I would have thought. I WISH I was SuperMom! I keep failing miserably at the task--and have developed a horrible addiction to Dr. Pepper and the synthetic energy it provides--so I keep attempting new ways of get closer to that goal.

This year I want to organize my business and home. I want to have more family balance. I am always trying new projects, crafts, and cooking with my children...it's fun and it helps me to feel like I have had some uninterrupted mommy time with them. (Thank you to my mom for relentlessly sending me pins from Pinterest until I finally got sucked in to the abyss of ideas! ) I am still learning a lot about owning a business and being a work-at-home mommy and would love to share any tips, tricks, ideas, and fun experiences of this crazy adventure.

Favorite Movies

Old school movies--Gone with the Wind, The Wizard of Oz, Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Last of the Mohicans, Old School, A Christmas Story.

Favorite Music 

I like pretty much all kinds of music. I like classic rock--although now I hear it and it is 80's and 90's rather than 70's. Okay, I just aged myself!

Favorite Books 

I love reading self help books, success stories and stories about people that have overcome obstacles. Lately though my favorite book are whatever I'm reading with my kids. My older son started to read this year--I never thought I would say this, but Dick and Jane is SOOO great when your child is sloowwwwllyyy reading each word with a big, proud smile at the end
